The WALLABY HI survey is expected to detect roughly 210,000 galaxies, with about 17,000-38,000 expected to be resolved enough for kinematic modelling. The Distributive Network feature highlights the 3KIDNAS bootstrap uncertainty stage: about 1,000 independent tilted-ring fits per galaxy can be distributed across DCP workers, turning a highly parallel analysis step into an HTC workload.
